The status of direct partner can be obtained by a company that has significant experience promoting software in one large region or in several regions, and also has a chain of its own resellers.
Distributors can recommend that companies in its distribution chain be given the status of a reseller or a retailer. This status can also be obtained upon request by a member-company of such a chain.
